RMD Sets A Green Agenda For This Year’s Conference On University Purchasing

PRLog (Press Release)– Jun 27, 2011– RMD Power and Cooling will confirm its commitment rc helicopter and car market place to cutting electricity bills and reducing energy wastage in data centres when it attends this year's Conference On University Purchasing (COUP) at the University of St Andrews, Scotland.

RMD was approved by APUC last year to supply, install and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment to all Scottish and English universities and colleges.

The company will showcase a range of energy saving products at the conference including the EcoCooling Computer Room Evaporative Cooler (CREC), InfraStruXure Central, the PUE monitoring system from APC by Schneider and Uniflair precision cooling systems.

RMD is the UK's leading independent specialist in integrated power and cooling solutions and already has existing agreements with the five English higher and further education consortia: NEUPC, NWUPC, LUPC, SUPC and CPC.

COUP is the most significant event for procurement professionals and those with the responsibility for purchasing, both in the UK further and higher education sectors and across the English speaking world of higher education. It is held every two years at an institution in a different region in the UK and arranged by one of the UK higher education purchasing consortia on a rotating basis.
