The 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid is another excellent choice for green-minded drivers. Sharing the same aerodynamics package with the HF, and housing a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine, and CVT transmission, the newest Civic Hybrid gets an estimated 44 miles-per-gallon highway. This three-mpg improvement over last year's Civic is thanks to the ion-lithium battery, which is a Honda first.
The 2012 Honda Civic GX is an Advanced Technology Partial-Zero-Emission Vehicle. It's fueled by Compressed Natural Gas which equals nearly zero emissions. In many states, this ultra-green vehicle gets HOV-lane access. It gets an estimated 38 miles-per-gallon highway.
